Happy Halloween!! Its that time again Candy, candy and more candy. Well today I’ve seen some kids dressed up although its not a tradition to celebrate Halloween in Spain. The kids like it because of the costumes and candy. In many schools, because Halloween is on a Friday they have celebrated today!

This Halloween is especially different for me because I’m out of the country visiting Barcelona, Spain. However, in Spain the kids do not celebrate Halloween like in the USA. But decorations and promotions are prevalent throughout stores and shopping malls.

Cacao Sampaka Chocolate

Hey its Candy Tuesdays!! Today’s video is a little bit different than the previous videos. Right now I’m Barcelona, Spain at the  Chocolate Market called Cacoa Sampaka. Check out the video below.

During my visit to Barcelona, Spain I stopped by this candy store Cacao Sampaka that was filled with great gourmet chocolates and extremely well designed boxes. The chocolate is made with 100% cocoa and chocolate was lucky enough to try the chocolate because you can only purchase them in the local shops in Barcelona,Berlin, Madrid (2 shops), Málaga, Torrelodones-Madrid, Valencia and Lisboa. The box that I tried was the fruits and jams collection.

Here are the fruit flavors

• Pear And Vanilla
  
• Mandarine and  Cinnamon
  
• Passion Fruit
  
• Raspberries
  
• Cocconut and Pineapple

The price for the box of 4 chocolate bits was 3.20 euros which is about $4.20.

The company does have a website Cacao Sampaka , however like I mentioned above you’re not able to purchase from the website. But if you’re in any of those cities, its a must visit!! I’m not a chocolate lover but I do know and recognize good fine chocolate and if there is a store in Berlin, Germany than it has to be great. German chocolates are some of the finest!!

Starburst Gummiburst

Has the Starburst Gummiburst Van come by your campus yet? Well, if not be on the lookout for a yellow van giving out the newest Starburst brand, “Gummiburst”!

The Starburst Gummiburst movement will begin its tour in Boston and ending in Charlotte, North Carolina after visiting New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, San Antonio, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Diego before wrapping up in Raleigh around December. Some fun events will be surrounding the Gummi Tour.

At each stop, students will be invited to perform on the stage of the GummiBurst van with one of four virtual instruments, drums, guitar or bass, through the Microsoft Xbox console. Four large plasma screens will capture the action and participants will receive faux concert GummiBurst T-shirts.

I’m looking very forward to trying out the new Gummiburst because in general all Starburst candy has really juicy flavor which I love! They come in normal gummiburst and sour! Below is a picture of the bag.
