TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SWEEPSTAKES: During the Entry Period, there are two (2) ways to participate.

1. Online: To receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes, visit www.BrooksideFoods.com and follow the directions to enter. All online entries must be received by November 11, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. PT to be eligible.. OR

2. Mail-in: To receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes without visiting the website, on a 3″ x 5″ piece of paper, hand-print your name, complete address, daytime and evening telephone numbers (area codes included), and date-of-birth, and mail entry in a properly stamped #10 envelope to: Brookside’s Giving Back With Chocolate Promotion, The Regan Group, 4895 W. 147th Street, Hawthorne, CA 90250. Entries must be postmarked by November 11, 2011 and received by November 18, 2011 to be eligible. All mail-in entries must be mailed in separately.

General Entry Conditions: Limit one (1) entry per person, per email address and per household for the duration of the Entry Period, regardless of method of entry. Multiple entries received from any person or e-mail address or household after the first entry received from that person or email address or household will be void. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated or mechanical means and entries by any means which subvert the entry process are void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

PRIZE:  $15,000, which winner may keep or have donated to a charity of his/her choice by Sponsor on winner’s behalf Charity to receive donation is subject to Sponsor’s approval. If winner elects to keep $15,000, it will be awarded as a check in the name of the winner. If winner elects to designate a charity to which the $15,000 will be donated, the conditions outlined below shall apply. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) is $15,000. Winner may not substitute, assign or transfer prize, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute prize with one of comparable or greater value. How to Participate

• Consumers can log onto either the M&M’s, Snickers, Twix, 3 Musketeers or Milky Way Facebook pages on Sept. 8, to secure a free coupon of their choice, as well as the opportunity to give a free coupon to one of their Facebook friends (while supplies last);
• Consumers can listen to one of their favorite Clear Channel radio stations who’ll be giving away free Mars Chocolate throughout the month of September; and
• Consumers can purchase any two Mars Chocolate North America brands — M&M’s, Snickers, Twix, 3 Musketeers or Milky Way — and get one free with coupons at participating retailers.

I really liked the Bubble Chocolate it was actually very smooth and not as strong as most chocolate bars I’ve reviewed. I prefer this type of chocolate mostly. The texture was great although I guess I was too hungry to wait for the “melt in your mouth effect”! Overall, I liked it and now I see why my nephew said it was awesome in the first review!

In light of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, Warheads has decided to sponsor the second annual T-Shirt Design Contest. The contest is open for anyone who can  design a t-shirt for the expected 60,000 St. Baldrick’s shavees, volunteers and donors in 2011.

The 2010 Winter Olympics start this Friday!! I can’t wait to watch the Ski Jumping event and of course Ice Skating. Halloween Cup Cakes

Serves: 12 Cupcakes
Ease of preparation: Easy
Preparation time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

Cupcake Ingredients

• 85g Dark Chocolate for Cooking
• 85g Butter, cut into 2cm cubes
• 100g Soft Light Brown Sugar
• 1 Egg
• 1 Egg Yolk at room temperature
• ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
• 1 tbsp Soured Cream
• 75g Self-Raising Flour
• 1 tbsp Cocoa Powder
• Pinch Salt

Icing Ingredients

• 30g Confectioners Icing Sugar
• 2tbsp Organic Cocoa Powder
• 75g of Soft Unsalted Butter
• 25g of meted Dark Chocolate for cooking (optional)
• Boo Box Halloween chocolate shapes to decorate
• Pumpkin Munchkins

Equipment

Sieve
Piping bag + Nozzle
Muffin tray

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180/ Gas mark 4 and line a muffin tin with 12 paper cases.
2. Put the chocolate, butter and sugar in a heatproof bowl and place over simmering water and allow to melt, stirring continuously. Set aside to cool slightly.
3. Whisk together the eggs, vanilla and soured cream. Stir this into the cooled chocolate mixture. Sift over the flour, cocoa powder and salt and fold in. Spoon into the paper cases, filing to around 2/3 full.
4. Bake in a preheated oven for approx 20 minutes, until the muffins are risen and just firm to the touch. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
5. To make the chocolate topping melt the dark chocolate over lightly simmering water. Allow to cool.
6. Beat the butter, confectioner sugar and cocoa powder together. Add in the cooled chocolate a table spoon at a time until a thick consistency is achieved. Thick enough to pipe.
7. Place the icing into a piping bag fitted with a piping nozzle of your choice and start from the centre of the cake and pipe outwards.
8. Decorate with Boo Box! Halloween chocolate shapes and Pumpkin Munchkins.
