Stridegum Review

// July 7th, 2009 // No Comments » // Candy Video Review, Gum

Yep! Back again, another really tasty sweet review for Candy Tuesday’s! Check it out.

Wow, this Stride Non Stop Mint gum really has become my favorite! I have tried other mint gums in the past and some of them are just way to minty. I like a slight mint flavor with a nice sweet sugar taste and the Stride gum does offer this. Plus, the wrapper is cute! Another important reason that I like this brand is that the gum contains XYLITOL and it really makes a difference if you’re a big gum chewer.

Other flavors include:

  • Non Stop Mint
  • Always Mandarin
  • Sweet Berry
  • Sweet Cinnamon
  • Forever Fruit
  • Sweet Peppermint
  • Winterblue
  • Spearmint
  • Uber Bubble (new) - I can’t wait to try that, especially if its sugar free as well!

For more information about Stride, check out their website: http://www.stridegum.com. They normally have games and offer really sweet promotions so make sure you bookmark here and there to receive updates as I get them!

P.S. This gum last soooooo long!!!

Unique 4th of July Candy

I hope everyone had a nice and safe 4th of July celebration yesterday! Mine was great! I was looking at different types of unique candy for Independence Day but there was nothing out there that really struck me, until I found these Red, White and Blue Strawberries dipped in white candy melts, with blue sugar to tip it off!

This is a wonderful example of unique use of colors, fruit and candy!

Toxic Waste Surprise

// June 30th, 2009 // No Comments » // Candy Video Review, Sour Candy

Hi! I received a nice surprise in the mail! Check out the Candy Tuesdays Video!

This is not the first time that I’ve tried the Toxic Waste Brand candy but there were some new sours that I did enjoy. In the video, I mentioned that I could not try the bubblegum because of my braces, however, after getting my brother to try it. He said it was SUPER SOUR, so I gave it a small try. Well I took a small bite off of the tip, and it was VERRRRRY sour. I mean I couldn’t hold it in my mouth LOL.

I wish I tried it during the video because my face would have told all! Overall, I did enjoy the spray the most because its easier for me to eat right now and its sour! The Toxic Waste Nuclear Sludge Chew Bars were good also but not as sour as I expected. But the flavors really juicy!

Here is the box of goodies that I received in the mail!

Included:

  • Toxic Waste Sour Spray – All flavors
  • Toxic Waste Hi-Voltage Bubble Gum
  • Nuclear Sludge Chew Bar

Thanks a lot. The bubblegum.. how can anyone eat the pack of 2 sticks that long?! If you’re interested in buying check out the Toxic Waste Candy website for a distributer in your area

3Musketeers Mint

// June 17th, 2009 // 1 Comment » // Candy Video Review

Wow its been a while and quite late, but another edition of Candy Tuesdays, with a spin!

Ok, did you like it?! My mom was nervous but actually excited to do the review. I was getting the area together for myself and using her to test the light, and jokingly I said you do the video. Well, she did it and only hesitated once. It take 2 takes but the 3rd was great!

Because of the nervousness of her first video, she forgot to mention a few things about the 3 Musketeers Mint Bar. Well she wanted to say after wards that it reminded her of York Peppermint Patties but softer! Also, she didn’t realize that the pack that was to be reviewed was the 3 Musketeers Mint 2-to-Go. Two small individual 3 Musketeers bars inside! Overall, she honestly really liked it!

These can now be purchased just about anywhere. These were sent into us a bit ago but notheless they were still super great. By the way, I ate the other half. The bar is like a Twix, in that if you want to save later or just a small munchie if you’re on a diet, its perfect!
