World Cup Soccer Whistle Candy!

Sorry I couldn’t get this out on Candy Tuesday. I’m moving around a bit. I have been watching soccer when I can and I picked this lollipop up at the store for a buck. Check it out!

I thought it was neat and of course fun to whistle. I’ll buy one for my nephew that played soccer this year for the first time. I’m sure he’ll get a kick out of the whistle and of course most importantly the CANDY!!

Warheads T-Shirt Candy Design Contest

In light of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, Warheads has decided to sponsor the second annual T-Shirt Design Contest. The contest is open for anyone who can  design a t-shirt for the expected 60,000 St. Baldrick’s shavees, volunteers and donors in 2011.

Contest Details

Start: Monday June 7, 2010

Ends: August 15, 2010 (Midnight PST)

This a great chance to design something for a great cause! Cancer is a life threatening disease and it can come unexpected to anyone. So just in case you’re interested the prizes are below.

Winning Prizes:

The winning design will be used on the more than 60,000 t-shirts worn by St. Baldrick’s shavees, volunteers, and donors during 2011. The winning designer will not only see their design printed on more than 60,000 t-shirts; but they will also receive a prize pack from first-time contest sponsor WARHEADS® that includes a 25 oz bag of WARHEADS® Extreme Sour Hard Candy, a WARHEADS® t-shirt, bandana, beanie and waterbottle.  WARHEADS® will also provide the winner with a $250 cash prize and make a $250 donation to the Foundation in the designer’s name.  The second and third place submissions will also receive the WARHEADS® prize pack and their designs will be sold in the St. Baldrick’s CafePress store.

What a SWEET Engagement Story! Couple Nicole Garner and Brandon Pugh have a pretty sweet story that started their beginnings over a dessert date. Now they are happily engaged to wed in October. They have made a candy inspired engagement story that I think is the cutest and most original that I’ve seen!

The proposal with a flavored Ring Pop engagement ring .. and a great quote from the slide: “Life is Uncertain, Eat Dessert First!”

Check out Candy Tuesday’s!!! Very tasty with lots of flavor inside..

I checked online in the US market for the Mentos Rainbow but I didn’t see it on the website. I purchased mine in Spain and they have been popular in the UK. From the looks of it, there isn’t any sign of the rainbow mentos in the USA — sorry about that. The price was 1 euro at the time of purchase.. I normally like reviewing new candies, but in this case the mentos were just calling my name!
