Best Valentine Day Chocolate

// January 21st, 2010 // No Comments » // chocolate candy, valentines candy

There comes that special day of the year which requires you to provide your soul mate with a box of delight, a box of the Best Valentine Day Chocolate. There is a slight issue though. You step into a shop and it hits you. There are too many types of chocolate and the difficulty of choosing the best arises immediately. I am here to provide you with some information and tips in order to solve the problem swiftly.

First of all, the box has to say “Valentine’s Day” on it or it just won’t do. If you narrow the search down to the specifically designed boxes you can start looking for the best of them.

Remember a few things though. Your partner will not eat them all in one go (since the box contains a lot of chocolate) so it would be better to purchase pralines (individually rapped if possible, so they stay fresh for a longer time). You could also go for a cake that you and your closest friends could enjoy. Either way, chocolate needs to be the main ingredient.

You have to think about what your soul mate likes exactly and focus on that sort of products. Maybe your soul mate enjoys chocolate with a bit of rum inside, or maybe he or she loves some strawberries dipped in the finest and tastiest chocolate. In any case, keep in mind that different people enjoy different things, so the best Valentine Day Chocolate for someone might not be as good for some body else.

Another important aspect would be the price. There are cheap boxes of chocolate, but if you really want to give him or her an impressive gift you could spend more than you expected on sweets alone. Settle on a budget and go find the best Valentine Day Chocolate for the one you love.

Some other Valentines Day offers going around that I’ve collected

Candy Wrapper Handbags

// January 20th, 2010 // No Comments » // Candy Art

How unique! Candy Wrapper hand bags! I’ve seen candy wrapper bracelets but never handbags. I would love a Skittles candy wrapper hand bag. Skittles was one of the first candies that I remembered as a child and I’m sure it was because of the “Taste the Rainbow” flavors and colors. These bags don’t come cheap at all. Handbag maker Nahui Ollin has a large collection of unique hand bags that of course include the candy wrapper made.

Here is a quote from the website:

ALL of our materials (Candy wrappers, gum wrappers and soda bottle labels) are factory rejects from independent manufactures and have never been used. These same materials were certain to be sent to a land fill or garbage dump only to pollute the earth more! Not only does the process sustain the environmentally-friendly practice of recycling, it also yields creatively-fresh, long lasting and innovative products.

Made from up to 4000 individual candy wrappers, each piece is passionately and patiently hand made by craftsmen and follows the same process of folding, weaving, and sewing, which can take up to 4 days to complete. And while the bags are indeed made from candy wrappers, gum wrappers and soda bottle labels, they stand the test of time and weather for tear-free, long term durability. What you once would have discarded without hesitation, has been transformed and reshaped into the next must have fashion accessory.

The best selling candy wrapper hand bags can be found at the website: Nahui Ollin.com

  • Shoulder bags
  • Hand bags
  • Convertible bags
  • Messenger bags
  • Clutch and evening bags
  • Wristlets and cutlets

After reviewing more of the website, they have a new type of bag and its made from Newspaper! How dificult that must be to make. However, its art and I LOVE IT!

Muddy Bears Review

// January 20th, 2010 // No Comments » // Candy Video Review, Gummy, chocolate candy

Back again, smarter and wiser!!! Check out this muddy edition of Candy Tuesdays!!!

I was really looking forward to eating these Muddy Bears but I was really disappointed with the taste. Thats not to say that you won’t enjoy it! However, I’m very very picky when it comes to gummi bears and I prefer those which are very juicy and have lots of flavor. These Muddy Gummi Bears didn’t have very good flavor and the milk chocolate taste was not very good. I bought these from the Dollar Tree so you should check out your local Dollar Tree just to give it a try and report back!

However, after checking the website I did notice one of my favorite sweets: Cotton Candy. The have announced a new type of cotton candy to their collection and its Mike & Ike’s. I love Mike & Ike’s and Hot Tamales!!! I wish I could have reviewed those! In due time I’m sure.Check out CandyAsap.com for other great tasting candy! They do have tons of good candy and you can order directly from the website which is nice
